In the late 80s and 90s, the number of cars owned by British people increased tremendously. With this increase, the problems of parking at different places increased too. These places included hotels, markets and airports of UK.

Although the people who took someone else’s horses or carriages were also called valets, but this service was introduced in the parking industry in late 80s. The introduction of valets in this industry was a huge achievement. This service added luxury into the lives of many individuals.

We can see that valets have been serving us for a long time. Every day we get so many benefits with their services. Some of those benefits are stated as following.

• As we don’t have to park the cars ourselves, we save a lot of time for other important activities.
• Our energy isn’t wasted in finding perfect parking spots for our cars.
• Valets open the doors and help us carry the luggage.
• Our cars are parked by professional and trained valets.

But the problem here is that we don’t thank the valets for offering such reliable and comfy services. We don’t tip them or give a very small amount of money. Our behaviour towards them is usually rude and offensive. We don’t value them.

All these things are not good for the betterment of our society. We should be thankful to the valets for their services. We should tip them according to their services. We should not be rude with them. They are the part of our society and we should respect them.
